Peak Builders, Inc., is a construction company dedicated to providing our customers with more than just building services.  We take pride in our ability to help them build their dreams - from a custom, energy efficient new home to the addition of a new deck.  Our focus in these projects is to incorporate new "green" building techniques and materials.  Our reputation is backed by experience and our attention to detail.

We are the Lakeland area's leader in Energy Efficient design and construction.  We are an Energy Star Partner and member of the US Green Building Council.  Peak Builders, Inc., has built the only LEED Certified house in the area and the first in the Upstate of SC.  Our goal is to continually expand our knowledge and experience with proven solutions in energy efficient technologies.

Our Business

Peak Builders, Inc., made a name for itself by doing repair and remodeling work around the Greenwood, SC, area.  This background has taught us many things.  We understand some of the local issues that impact older houses, such as termite and water damage, and we have researched ways to overcome these problems.  This has allowed us to make smarter decisions in how we build our new homes, providing owners the opportunity to have reduced long-term energy costs with greater comfort, better health and more enjoyment.

The Owner of Peak Builders, Inc., has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from UNC-Charlotte.  This education, combined with 10 years of practical experience in industry, has allowed us to pursue our goal of providing energy efficient building solutions to the Lakeland area.

Peak Builders was the key speaker for the Greenwood Association of Realtors on Green Building.  A tour of the LEED Gold home was offered to showcase some of the green building technologies used.

The Index-Journal wrote an in depth article on the LEED Gold house on Scotch Cross Road.  The two page article was titled "Energy Efficiency Good for Planet".
